Interview

What makes you different?

I come from an international family where nationalities change in every generation. This heritage has taught me how to adapt quickly to a new environment and to connect easily with people. I am open to others; I communicate easily and I am a team-player.

I also know that only hard work brings excellent results. Physical abilities and training make me strong, but I equally work on my mental abilities which I need to rely on as an athlete and student.

Why do you want to compete in college?

Being part of a college team in the US offers the unique possibility to play in professional conditions and study at the same time. I am fascinated by the American culture and its 175 years of college sports tradition. I would like to reconnect with my American roots (my grand-mother is American) and I think that college sport will allow me to fully develop my academic and athletic potential.

College goals?

My aim is to enroll in an excellent undergraduate Business Management Program such as offered by the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton), California-Berkeley (Haas), Southern California, Michigan – Ann Arbor (Ross), Boston College, MIT (Sloan), Northwestern University (Kellogg), Harvard University, Stanford, Columbia, Dartmouth College (Tuck), Cornell.

Basketball and life Goals?

I see my future life based on three pillars:

  • a job where I can be a change maker for a better society
  • my passion, basketball, which makes me surpass myself
  • a family to share great moments with

Anything else we should know?

I love music a lot and I play the piano when I have time.
