Interview
What makes you different?
What makes me different is my determination and persistence. I have faced difficult moments throughout my athletic journey, but I have never given up. Athletics has been my passion since childhood and remains an important part of my life.
As a multiple national medalist at the U18 and U20 levels, I have learned the importance of discipline, hard work, and staying focused on my goals. At the same time, I balance a demanding training schedule with my education and work hard to succeed in both.
My determination, passion for athletics, and ability to overcome challenges are qualities that I believe will help me succeed at the next level.
Why do you want to compete in college?
I want to compete in college because I believe it will provide the right environment for me to develop as both an athlete and a student. The high level of coaching, training, competition, recovery, and preparation in U.S. college athletics would give me the opportunity to continue improving in a structured and competitive environment.
I also want to challenge myself against strong athletes and be part of a team that motivates me to improve every day. I see college athletics as the ideal next step toward reaching my full potential while earning a high-quality education.
What are your track and field and life goals?
My goal in track and field is to continue improving, compete at the international level, and represent my team at the highest level possible. I want to discover how far I can go in the sport through hard work, good coaching, and consistent training.
Outside of athletics, I want to earn a strong education and develop the knowledge and skills needed for a successful career. My long-term goal is to build a balanced and fulfilling life in which I can be successful both as an athlete and in my future profession.
What are your college goals?
My college goals are to develop both academically and athletically in a challenging and supportive environment. I believe U.S. colleges offer an excellent opportunity to combine high-level athletics with a strong education.
I want to contribute to my team, continue improving my performances, succeed academically, and make the most of the opportunities available to me during my college career.
Is there anything else we should know?
Athletics has taught me discipline, patience, responsibility, and how to respond to both success and disappointment. I am motivated to continue learning and improving, and I am ready for the challenges of studying and competing in a new environment.
I would bring commitment, a strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude to a college program. I am excited about the opportunity to represent my university and contribute both on the track and as a member of the college community.
