Interview
What makes you different?
What makes me different is my strong attacking impact and my ability to consistently create danger. I am very effective in 1v1 situations, using my explosive pace and solid technical control to break lines and generate chances. Throughout all these years, I have played as a left winger, striker, and attacking midfielder, which helps me adjust quickly to different roles and demands on the field.
I am always keen on improving and learning new things. Another key strength of mine is I stay calm, confident, and focused on helping the team even when the team is not performing well. My combination of speed, technique, quick adaptation, and strong mentality is what sets me apart.
Why do you want to compete in college?
Soccer is my life. As long as I can remember, the soccer ball has always been with me and I always wanted to become a professional soccer player. In recent years, U.S. soccer has grown tremendously, and watching the last World Cup proved that the U.S. is becoming a real force in the sport. Many national team players developed through the college system, which gives me confidence that competing at the collegiate level will help me achieve my dream.
At the same time, education is highly valued in my family. I know that graduating from a U.S. university is prestigious and opens strong professional opportunities beyond soccer. My time living in Canada also taught me to respect and get along with people of other nationalities and races. I miss that environment, and I believe that studying in the U.S. will allow me to build meaningful friendships from all over the world.
College goals
My main goals in college are to grow both as an athlete and as a student. I want to compete at a high level, train in a professional environment, and develop my game so I can move closer to becoming a top-class player. Playing in the U.S. will give me the chance to face strong competition and improve my physical, technical, and tactical abilities.
Academically, I want to choose a field that truly interests me and pushes me to grow. I am motivated to work hard in the classroom just as I do on the field, and my goal is to graduate prepared for life, with the discipline, mentality, and work ethic that college soccer will help me strengthen.
Soccer and life Goals?
Every day I push myself to improve and refine my game. My goal is to play professionally for a club with strong traditions and high standards. In my biggest dreams, I represent my national team at a World Cup. I believe success comes from hard work and preparation, so I am fully committed to giving everything I have to make these goals a reality—both on the field and in life.
Anything else we should know?
My family and I love traveling and exploring new places. We try to visit one or two new destinations every year. Outside of soccer, I am very interested in space and astronomy, and I enjoy learning more about how the universe works.
