Interview
What makes you different
I was brought up in a very athletic family dedicated to sports. Thus I consider sport as part of my lifestyle not a hobby. I am very dedicated in what I do, not only regarding sports but also academics. I have always been ambitious towards my goals and always understood that to achieve these goals one must put in a lot of hard-work, sweat, tears and never ending self-belief and discipline. I like the competitive aspect of the sport and use it in order to push myself to be the best as I can be. However I don’t allow the competitive aspect to change me as a person and my beliefs, such as fair play and clean sport.
Why do you want to compete in college?
I want to be able to compete against numerous athletes of high level, which in my country is very limited. I would also like to expose myself to different types of competitions and competitors to gain as much experience as I can in order to really become the best athlete I can be.
Track and Field and life Goals?
In life I want to become the best version of myself including sport and academics. I want to be able to fulfil my full potential and enjoy the process. I want to represent my country in many high international competitions and return with impressive results and medals.
College goals
I want to be able to juggle between academics and sport. I want to ace the academical exams whilst achieving excellent results in track and field. Even though I want to improve and train hard, I still want to be able to graduate and achieve excellent marks in exams as I want to be both a high ranking athlete as well as a high academical student.
